The World In Verse

Poets Kip Knott (https://www.kipknott.com/), William Heath (https://www.williamheathbooks.com/), and I recently participated in a panel discussion for the 16th annual Ohioana Book Festival. Our conversation was moderated by the wonderful poet Steve Abbott (https://steveabbott.us/).

Of course, we talked about our recently released books (see below for more information), and I appreciated having that opportunity. But I was most drawn in by hearing Kit and William read a poem (each) from their books and to hearing what they had to say about how they view The World In Verse.

I have always found poets to be welcoming and generous. Poets want to share thoughts and ideas, and they also approach life with their eyes and ears wide open...looking to gain new understandings and greater insights. To be a part of this intimate group was an honor.

You can hear our conversation by logging onto the Ohioana Book Festival website

(http://www.ohioana.org/programs/ohioana-book-festival/ ), where you also will find other authors whose conversations were recorded and are available for free. The Festival is taking place (in a virtual format, making it even more accessible for out-of-towners!) from April 29 until May 1.
