Thankful
Ohio. November. Less daylight. Less sunshine. Less warmth.
But...more, more, more.
More opportunities to bundle up and go hiking with no bugs, bees, or pesky brush to tangle through. More evenings for guilt-free reading (no worries about “wasting” daylight hours).
More star gazing.
More time to play games or cards.
More holidays to celebrate...lots of them!
Right now I am focusing on expressing gratitude for what I have in my life...not what I do not have. And I have so much! A truly wonderful husband who is my best friend. A fantastic, smart, capable, beautiful daughter. Nieces and nephews I love. My daughter-in law! My sister. A small cadre of great friends. The world’s best neighbors. Good health. Eyes to read with...legs that take me hiking.
I am thankful.
